Wave of Light for October 15

Today, October 15, is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today, our family is joins families in all times zones, all over the world, by lighting a candle in memory of our babies who died during pregnancy or infancy.

Our family will light 4 candles for our babies plus 1 extra candle for my friend Heidi's son who died the day after he was born. As families across the world each light candles for 1 hour at 7:00 pm, there will be a continuous wave of light all around the world today.

Today, we remember:
-Raife's twin whom we lost at 9 weeks, 5 days gestation.
-Angeliyah's twin whom we lost at 9 weeks, 3 days gestation.
-Angeliyah, who lived in my womb for 29 weeks and 2 days and lived in our arms for 32 minutes.
-Reed, whom we lost at 12 weeks, 2 days gestation
-Cody, whom Heidi lost at 1 day old

We also remember Angeliyah's friend Faith who lived for 9 days on earth before joining Angeliyah in heaven, and Faith's little sibling AA who went to heaven just weeks before our little Reed.

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Psalm 139: 13-16

We miss you Angeliyah and our 3 littles ones who we've yet to meet. Hugs and kisses from Mommy, Daddy, Raife and Remielle.
