Our results came back this morning and our baby has a severe chromosomal defect called Trisomy 13. According to our Dr. 80% are stillborn and of the 20% who are born alive, 95% die in the first month. Not all babies with Trisomy 13 have serious heart defects. Because our baby has one of the most fatal heart defects, the Dr. doesn't expect her to be one of the ones who survive.
