Remielle's Baby Dedication

Remi's full name is Remielle Grace. Her middle name, Grace, is after her sister and Remielle is Hebrew for "Mercy of God".

As many of you know, 16 months ago we had a little girl named Angeliyah Grace. She was born 10 weeks early and died shortly after she was born. It was the hardest thing that we have ever faced, but God has been so faithful to bring healing, and to restore the joy in our hearts.
Lamentations 3:21 says: "But this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Through the LORD’S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."

Although there have been many ways that God has brought joy back into our lives in this last year, Remi has been the greatest new blessing we've received from God this year and she brings so much joy to us each day. We believe that Remi is a gift from God. Psalm 127:3 says: "Sons (and daughters) are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him".

We are so grateful that God has given Remi to us and graciously allowed us the privilege of raising her, but we recognize that first and foremost she belongs to God. Because she belongs to God, we as Christian parents recognize that it is our responsibility to raise her to know Him. 3rd John 1:4 says: "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." We already know beyond a shadow of a doubt that our 1st daughter is in heaven with Jesus. We commit ourselves to raising Raife and Remi up with the wisdom of God, that they would always know & love Jesus and that they would always walk in His truth, so that they will go to be with Him one day also.
